Job Title: Injection Moulding Engineer
Location: County Waterford, Republic of Ireland
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Moulding Engineer to assist in the development and implementation of production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Introduction of New Tools: Tool trials at toolmakers and in-house, tool set-up, qualification runs and handover to production.
* Design and Debugging of New Systems: Assist with the design and debugging of new systems, tooling and automation.
* Validation Reports: Completion of IQ, OQ, PQ validation reports.
* Process Enhancement: Perform designed experiments to enhance processes as well as improve yields and utilisation through reduced cycle time and efficient set-ups.
* Liaison and Troubleshooting: Front line liaison with customers, suppliers and toolmakers. Responsible for troubleshooting and supporting Team Leaders as required.
* Maintenance Programs: Develop/implement maintenance programs for moulding and ancillary equipment.
* Clean and Safe Working Environment: Assist Team Leader and Line Coordinators in maintaining clean, safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment.
* Organisational and Communication Skills: Excellent organisational, communication, computer and presentation skills.
* Troubleshooting Skills: Systematic troubleshooting skills.
* Leadership: Strong leadership of technical issue resolution.
* Lean Six Sigma: Lean Six Sigma skills an advantage.
* Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project.
Education: Degree in Polymer or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Experience: At least 3-5 years' experience in a high-volume moulding environment. Experience in cleanroom procedures.
