My client, the world’s leading Semiconductor company driving decarbonisation and digitalisation is seeking a Digital IC Architect to join their R&D centre in Dublin, Southern Ireland.
This role sits within my client’s world-renowned automotive division, which is driving chip development to make our roads cleaner and safer.
As the Digital IC Architect your focus will be to drive concept development and innovation in the field of microcontroller communication IPs for automotive products. You will be the driver in determining solutions that fulfil hardware and software requirements, and will be a key figure within a collaborative team of system engineers, functional safety engineers and RTL and verification engineers to promote the development strategy.
You will need to have:
1. A BSc / MSc degree in Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or similar field
2. A number of years’ prior experience working within digital IC architecture / ASIC design
3. Knowledge of microcontrollers and automotive applications
4. A good understanding of communication protocols such as PCIe / SPI / Ethernet
5. Excellent communication skills in English
