Infrastructure Engineering Advisor – Databricks (AWS)
Are you an experienced Databricks Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge AWS cloud infrastructure? We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Advisor to join a dynamic Big Data Services team, playing a key role in managing and optimizing Databricks platforms at both Account and Workspace levels.
This hands-on role provides high visibility and the chance to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions, working with the latest technologies and best development practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert-level support for Databricks platforms (Account & Workspace level)
* Implement and maintain Databricks on AWS, including Cluster Policies, SQL Warehouse, Serverless, and Unity Catalog
* Optimize monitoring, performance tuning, and cost management for Databricks and AWS environments
* Manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform
* Work extensively with AWS services (S3, EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, Route 53, EMR, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS)
* Utilize scripting and automation with Python, PySpark, SQL, and Go
* Handle Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management (ITIL framework)
* Collaborate with vendor support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
What You Bring
* Proven experience with Databricks Administration on AWS
* Expertise in Terraform, Python, S3, IAM, IaC & CI/CD pipelines
* Solid grasp of AWS technologies (S3, EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, Route 53, EMR, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS)
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
* Excellent collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills
* Prior experience with IT Service Management (ITIL, Incident & Change Management, Vendor Management)
Experience & Qualifications
* 11 to 13 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure & Databricks administration
* Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)
