The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a Multisite Stock Controller (f/m/d) to provide support for customer accounts in improving our services and achieving process consistency across all our sites.
This role will be a full-time, on-site position with regular travel between our customer sites in Athlone and Dublin. We offer a performance-based bonus plan, 25 days holiday, travel expenses coverage, health insurance, and a company pension scheme.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30, with daily hours being dependent on customer site location and workload (37.5 working hours/week in total)
The team: You will be part of a supportive team within our Laboratory and Production Services, supporting large pharmaceutical companies and laboratories globally in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.
What we’re looking for:
Education: Completed Leaving Certificate with a curiosity for science.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in warehousing, inventory management, and stock control.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word), knowledge of SAP an advantage.
* Great verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven excellent customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively within team environments.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to be flexible and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
* Self-motivated, energetic, dependable.
* Able to identify and adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations.
* Full clean driving license and own car are a must have.

* Create and lead projects linked to process improvement and productivity for our on-site services.
* Identify areas of employee satisfaction and create presentations to highlight development areas.
* Perform daily review of inventory and timely resolution of inventory, planning, and supply chain issues.
* Facilitate data and reporting activities against set KPIs.
* Review and reconcile inventory discrepancies related to production material inventory.
* Support the Regional Operations Manager with operational, project, and HR related tasks.
