Staff Nurse Job Reference Number: Du.OC Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow Permanent Full-Time 162.5 hrs Per Month We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated, organised, and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our services.
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, applicants must have experience working with people who have difficulties expressing their needs due to complex communication issues and can put appropriate support plans in place.
Hours will involve variable shift patterns to include day, evening and unsociable hours.
Candidates must be innovative in their approach and take responsibility for the provision of a high-quality person-centred service in line with H.I.Q.A.
Standards and be committed to the promotion of social inclusion and community participation.
About the Service: This service provides care for males and females over the age of 18 years.
There is a mix in the location of clients with profound learning disabilities and complex medical issues.
Our clients may need some mobility support due to physical disabilities.
There is a skill mix in this location of nurses, community support workers and care assistants as well as some additional support regarding domestic and cooking duties.
This is a homely working environment, and teamwork plays a key part in ensuring our clients get a high standard of care.
Our clients' families are supportive of the service and the care our clients receive.
Our clients take an active role in our community.
They really enjoy arts and crafts, music, getting out and about and spending time outdoors.
