Director Program Operations Leader (POL) Job Description
This is a hybrid role that requires on-site work 3 days a week and remote work 2 days a week. A fully remote position is not possible.
About the Role:
The Director Program Operations Leader (POL) is responsible for leading and strategically managing one or more complex clinical programs in Clinical Trial Management (CTM).
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain an overview of clinical program(s) status and issues, communicating progress, risks, and changes that impact quality, timelines, and budget to stakeholders.
* Provide operational insight into feasibility, timeline, and cost estimates during clinical program/study development.
* Oversee clinical study timelines within a clinical program(s) and provide input on Clinical Study Concepts (CSC).
* Evaluate plans and provide clinical operations expertise during protocol design, feasibility, study start up, and conduct phases of studies.
* Ensure consistency within the program and develop best practices within CTM.
* Manage clinical study budgets within a program, ensuring review, presentation, and approval of initial study budget and timely delivery of quality operational deliverables.
* Drive decision-making and integrate all operational considerations for studies within a clinical program(s) to ensure goals are attainable prior to implementation.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree.
* Minimum of 12 years relevant industry experience, with 8 years in clinical trial management.
* Oncology experience is required; experience with early stage oncology assets is highly preferred.
