We are hiring Senior House Officer (SHO) to our Leading Hospitals in Dublin,Ireland SHO Vacancies as follows: Oncology Medicine Surgery Cardiology Orthopaedics Rotator Responsibilities Assess, review, and document findings for patients as directed by the attending Consultant and/or Nursing Staff.
Order investigations, such as radiography, blood tests, and function tests, as directed by the consultant, in accordance with the management plan.
Prescribe drugs for patients as advised by the consultant.
Participate in ward rounds.
Finish the discharge process with an electronic discharge letter and prescription.
To assist in the education of colleagues, medical students, and staff.
Respond to any bad events that patients, visitors, or staff may experience, such as injuries, falls, or sudden illnesses.
Participate in quality improvement and risk management efforts wherever possible.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, such as blood safety and infection control.
Comply with Health and Safety Regulations to ensure safe working practices and a safe workplace.
Support Interns on three-month rotations at the hospital.
Meet with the specialty-specific intern on a regular basis to discuss the intern's learning needs.
Act as a mentor to the intern on the team and guide them in terms of professional development appropriate for their stage of training.
Requirements Medical degree (MBBS or similar).
Current Irish Medical Council (IMC) registration.
To work in an Irish private hospital, you must be eligible for the relevant employment visa.
Requirements for this position include experience in an acute hospital setting Current BLS certification.
