The role The Software Development Engineer will work in one of our Spirometry application project teams, to help drive continuous roadmap delivery.
Spirometry is a common office test used to assess how well your lungs work by measuring how much air you inhale, how much you exhale and how quickly you exhale.
Spirometry is used to diagnose asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other conditions that affect breathing.
The team The Spirometry team consists of hardware, mechanical and software engineers and the Software Development Engineer will assist the team in developing new features for our spirometry applications, driving the product roadmap forward.
Responsibilities: The responsibilities of Software Development Engineer will include: - Projects Designing and developing some aspects of the software roadmap.
Assisting the project team in distilling requirements into clear, actionable work packages.
Ensuring project artefacts e.g.
documentation are delivered at each release point.
People Operating in the project team in a co-operative, respectful manner.
Maintaining a positive and motivating outlook.
Process Operate in an agile environment, delivering tasks on a sprint-by-sprint basis.
Assisting in the planning, scheduling and delivery of software releases.
Ensuring that all work and tasks carried out are consistent and compliant with our Quality Management System.
The ideal candidate The Software Development Engineer will: Have a 3rd level degree, or equivalent, in a Software Engineering or related discipline.
Have a strong team ethic.
Have a minimum of 2 years relevant software engineering experience, preferably having 1 year C# experience.
