Job Location - Dublin, D12 P922
Weekly Hours - 39 hrs + Overtime, Monday to Friday
Purpose
To assemble joinery items of various materials according to drawings and cutting lists, using hand tools, power tools, and factory machines.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
(this is not an exhaustive list)
1. Fabricate and assemble bespoke cabinets, counters, and modular shopfitting displays using woodworking machinery from CAD drawings and Cut Lists in line with the company quality standards.
2. Read CAD drawings and identify all components required for assembly.
3. Joinery, assembly and manufacture skills required – ability to work with all finishes including veneers, laminates and painted finishes.
4. To ensure correct and safe use of hand tools, power tools and factory machines.
5. Ensure the highest standard of assembly is carried out at all times.
6. Complete work in expected times.
7. Ensure that you are working in line with current health and safety standards.
8. Take full responsibility for all health and safety issues for which he/she is responsible.
9. Any other duties that may be assigned by your Line Manager.
Person Specification
Qualifications
1. Safe Pass is advantageous.
2. Shop fitting trade experience or qualification is essential.
3. Full driving licence not essential but advantageous.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
1. Strong problem-solving skills and initiative essential.
2. Ability to learn quickly in a busy fast-paced environment.
3. Must be flexible as there will be a requirement for overtime working.
4. Strong knowledge of technical specifications of joinery and cabinet making products.
5. Must contribute to achieving continuous improvement.
6. Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role is essential.
7. Fluency in English is essential.
8. Team player.
9. Ability to work within tight deadlines in a busy environment.
10. Flexible approach to duties undertaken.
11. Ability to work on own initiative.
12. Good time keeping and reliable.
