Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Harper Finley have partnered with a leading recycling management company to hire an Accounts Payable Manager to work on a full time, permanent basis. This company has been at the forefront of the green waste initiative over the past 15+ years, making this a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader. This role will oversee the Accounts Payable function and will be responsible for leading a team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with prior team management experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the accounts payable function by clearly defining responsibilities, providing guidance, and supporting team development through training and performance management.
2. Ensure optimal utilization of the system by effectively managing accounts payable processes.
3. Collaborate proactively with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
4. Lead and support ongoing projects and process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder cooperation.
5. Maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures, including workflows and desktop instructions, ensuring regular updates and adherence by the team.
6. Ensure the team possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to perform effectively, fostering continuous development through coaching and training.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
1. 3 – 4 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
2. Management experience with oversight of the Accounts Payable function
3. Strong experience with MS Office, Excel, and Accounting software
4. Experience in implementing new processes and procedures
5. Excellent communication skills
Salary & Benefits:
1. €50,000 - €60,000
