We manufacture vascular devices in Clonmel to meet worldwide demand, including Vessel Closure, Endovascular, and Coronary technologies for heart, carotid arteries, and peripheral blood vessels.
Vacancy: Financial Analyst
We seek a Financial Analyst to join our business based at our vascular manufacturing plant in Clonmel, reporting to the Finance Manager.
Purpose of the Job:
This role supports site finance and operations teams across several key areas of the business, requiring excellent data accuracy and analytical skills, ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Provide financial support to site manufacturing operations
2. Assess reasonableness and relevance of financial assumptions
3. Perform general accounting activities and reconciliations
4. Review and approval of capital project and inventory expenditures
5. Prepare and review monthly KPI metrics
6. Assist in Annual Plan & quarterly Plan updates
7. Maintain controls for compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and internal Corporate Financial Policies
Education & Competencies:
B.S. in Accounting or Relevant Business Course preferred
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with 2-3 years PQE
Related industry experience an advantage
Key Skills:
* Excellent financial analysis skills & strong attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* High level of proficiency in MS Excel and understanding of financial accounting systems
