Job DescriptionPartner with the Irish/UK Senior Leadership teams and the global CSRD/Sustainability teams to develop SGS CSRD and related sustainability services for Ireland and the UK with a view to building a significant revenue stream within the next 12-24 months.Prepare, execute and regularly review and update a business development plan to end 2025Develop a targeted list of potential clients for CSRD servicesAdvise, guidance and consult with clients to assist them in gap analysis, Materiality assessment, data collection and analysis and assist in drafting CSRD reports.
This includes financial impacts, including but not limited to costs and revenue, impact on assets and liabilities and cash flow.Assist in the identification of future Human Resources to support service delivery in the coming years.
Assist in the training and mentoring of new recruits.Liaise with the SGS Finance department to ensure that all group requirements are metAt all times, adopt safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and clients, in line with the Company's policies and procedures inclusive of the Rules for Life.Ensure full compliance with the Company's Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct, and at all times adopt behaviour in accordance with SGS Equality & Diversity policyQualificationsMinimum 5+ years' experience in a finance and accounting role.Third Level qualification in accounting or financeExcellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyse financial reports and forecasts.Deep interest in sustainability and specifically ESG (Environment, Social & Governance) disclosure and reporting requirements.Evidence of education and training in sustainability topics and regulatory schemes (GHG measurement, CSRD, GRI, SASB & others)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience collaborating and building relationships with clients especially at senior management levelAwareness of business and regulatory changes and trends
