Aerospace Project Engineer Role
This full-time position involves being a key player in a dynamic and growing company's Project Engineering Team, specializing in the manufacture of Aerospace Tooling Packages for UK & International customers.
The ideal candidate will be willing to take ownership of and deliver projects within a production/manufacturing environment, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret and analyze engineering drawings from various customers.
* Display strong communication skills to influence and communicate at all levels, remaining calm under pressure.
* Liaise efficiently with customers, providing project reports and updates, and agree on resolutions to variances or non-conformances raised.
* Deal with external suppliers, maintaining good professional relationships and answering technical queries.
* Work closely with in-house Design, Production, and Quality teams to meet customer requirements and follow internal procedures.
* Assist Engineering Management & Directors in improving the company's engineering capabilities.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or HNC/HND (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing) with associated engineering experience.
* At least 5 years relevant experience within a tool design/engineering environment.
* Strong CAD experience, preferably in Catia, with knowledge of manufacturing tolerances and Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Experience working in an Engineering/Production manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
