Telecommunications Product Safety Compliance Analyst
We are seeking an outstanding candidate to fill a new role as a Product Compliance Analyst.

The Role
* Investigate and manage multiple product compliance cases, ensuring actual or potential breaches are identified and addressed through enforcement action.
* Conduct Market Surveillance activities on eCommerce platforms to assess compliance with the RED and EMC Regulations.
* Carry out Authorized Officer market surveillance activities on products being imported and sold in the State to assess compliance with the RED and EMC Regulations.
* Control the entry of relevant products into the State by engaging with State authorities, such as Revenue Customs.
* Develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, including national and international Market Surveillance Authorities and EU Commission.
* Implement risk-based processes and procedures to ensure an effective approach to market surveillance and compliance activities.
* Evaluate radio and electrical/electronic products against relevant standards, covering requirements laid down in the RED and EMC Regulations.
* Manage EC notification systems, such as ICSMS and RAPEX, to coordinate information exchange between administrations on non-compliance.
* Represent the firm at national and international fora and contribute to EU-wide market surveillance campaigns.
* Manage external consultants, advisors, and resources to deliver projects.
The Person
* Hold a third-level qualification from a technology, engineering, or similar relevant discipline.
* Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.
* Show experience in engaging and managing external advisors and resources to deliver projects.
* Demonstrate the ability to quickly master complex briefs and arrive at clear, evidence-based proposed decisions.
* Possess excellent communication, networking, and influencing skills.
* Hold a current and valid full driving license.
* Have knowledge of telecommunications, radiocommunication systems, and radio frequency propagation.
* Familiarity with national and EU institutions, regulatory environment, and/or experience in applying EU directives and regulations would be advantageous.
