PMO Lead - Dublin, Ireland - Eolas Recruitment
Job Description: We seek an experienced PMO Lead to join a leading financial services institution on a daily rate contract. The PMO Lead will ensure the successful delivery of projects by providing governance, oversight, and strategic guidance across the project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) aligned with organizational strategy and objectives.
* Develop and implement project governance frameworks, tools, and methodologies to drive consistency and high standards in project execution.
* Ensure clear and effective communication between project teams and senior stakeholders, providing transparency on project performance, risks, and opportunities.
* Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, ensuring they are scalable and fit-for-purpose.
* Manage the overall project portfolio, tracking progress, timelines, and budgets while mitigating risks and resolving issues.
* Support project managers with guidance on best practices, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
* Collaborate with senior leaders to prioritize projects and ensure that resource requirements are met.
* Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring projects are delivered in line with industry standards.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a PMO Lead, with a strong background in financial services or related sectors.
* Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and governance frameworks.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders.
* Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent.
* Relevant qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications would be advantageous.
Requirements: Proven experience in PMO Lead role, Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, Exceptional leadership and communication skills, Strong organizational and analytical skills, Proficiency in project management tools, Relevant qualifications.
