Assistant warehouse manager

The Role

You would like to be part of a successful and rewarding business? Dreams and Sofatime are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our growing team at our new Distribution Centre based in Tallaght.


Main Accountabilities

* Lead the distribution team by motivating, inspiring, and delegating tasks effectively.
* Support the warehouse manager and act as an integral part of the warehouse management team.
* Deputise for the warehouse manager in their absence.
* Challenge the Distribution team on customer complaints and present learnings from their issues.
* Provide effective coaching and enforce consistent delivery of REACH principles.
* Enforce company rules and regulations.
* Ensure health standards, safety, and security procedures are followed.

Maintain warehouse and vehicle standards through:

* Holding the distribution team to account on internal and external vehicle standards.
* Couching warehouse supervisors to achieve consistently high standards in their areas.
* Maintaining standards throughout the entire Duncrue complex.

Essential Criteria

* Previous warehouse experience, ideally in a supervisory or managerial role.
* Good IT skills and knowledge of warehouse systems.
* A FLT licence.
