Sheehy Motor Group is currently welcoming applications for the role of Trainee Service Advisor to join our aftersales team in Carlow. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with strong customer service and communication skills. The successful candidate will be provided with in-depth training in all aspects of the service process and will become an integral part of the Aftersales Team. This is a demanding position and the successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, have excellent interpersonal skills and be process driven.
The main areas of learning will be:
* To provide all customers with systematic and qualified support and assistance in all phases of the service process, in order to deliver successful results and to enhance customer satisfaction as the basis for long-term building and maintaining of loyalty to the brand and the Dealership.
* Commit every effort to attaining the targets and goals set by the Service Management Team.
* Ensure that the dealership's service department contributes to the customer's satisfaction with service delivery by providing a high quality of work.
* To deal with customer requirements for service and repair in an efficient and courteous manner both by phone and service reception.
* Determine workshop availability and manage bookings to ensure maximum workshop efficiency.
* Manage service customer appointments efficiently and liaise with customer as appropriate.
* To deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and retention with emphasis on First Time Fix.
* Adopt at all times a positive approach which will encourage exceptional levels of customer care.
* Assist with warranty claims processing as required.
* Achieve consistently high standards across the dealership and identify new ways to increase the performance.
Person Specific
* Experience of working in a customer service environment, demonstrating a commitment to providing customers with an exceptional level of service.
* Possess a strong desire to succeed in a targeted & competitive environment.
* Can clearly demonstrate a strong work ethic with excellent organisational skills & the ability to work well in a team environment.
* Warm and friendly personality portraying a professional and corporate image both in-person and over the phone.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A disciplined approach to following a rigid process from start to finish.
Key Competencies
* Be fluent in verbal and written English.
* Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of ADP Kerridge would be a distinct advantage.
* Full, clean driving licence.
