As a Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with key customer technical decision makers and influencers, leading complex technical sales, and driving digital transformation using Microsofts products and services. You will also leverage your knowledge of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and customer needs to shape strategic wins and customer success plans. You will work closely with the sales team, partners, and product teams to ensure alignment and deliver value to customers, ultimately contributing to the achievement and surpassing of quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Your work week will be dynamic, with the majority of the time focused on engaging with Microsoft largest customers—planning, preparation, and various meetings, including technical presentations, demos, and workshops. The remaining time will be dedicated to continuously enhancing your technical expertise, staying abreast of industry trends, and understanding the competitive landscape in the realm of Digital & Application Innovation.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
1. Solid technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
2. OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND a few years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
3. OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND a few years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience
4. This role requires collaboration with local customers, therefore fluency in French is required.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
5. Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) Certified OR able to attain certification within 3 months
6. Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
7. Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following:Application development platforms on public clouds and/or Azure in development languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C#, Node.JS targeting Android, iOS, Linux, Windows, public clouds or Azure.Scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration (e.g. AKS, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry etc.), microservice frameworks etc. Software development practices like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (i.e., Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, GitHub). preferredUnderstanding of Data & AI technologies in context of app development (I.e,. SQL and NoSQL Databases, Big Data, Cognitive Service, Machine Learning etc.). preferred

Scale Customer Engagements
8. Proactively identifies and engages with key customer technical decision makers while engaging the team and helping lead sales strategy
9. Uses knowledge of customer context and solution or portfolio expertise to build credibility with customers.
10. Ensures technical wins for core technologies by independently driving technical discussions with customers. Improves customer interactions through feedback and observation.

Leverage Partner Ecosystem
12. Engages in partner sell-with scenarios by collaborating with partners to carry out technical engagement activities and acting as a source of trusted partner knowledge.
13. Supports partner technical capacity by monitoring and analyzing resources through interactions, communicating with managers, and identifying new partnership opportunities to build subsidiary strategy.
Build Strategy
14. Shares competitive insights from customer sessions with colleagues and escalates competitive situations to influence compete strategies.
15. Provides strategic, technical input based on Microsoft capability at the account level to contribute to strategy development.
16. Tailors Microsoft messaging to audience and captures and shares customer feedback using knowledge of specific Microsoft solutions and their context in a competitive landscape.
Solution Design and Proof
17. Demonstrates and oversees demonstrations (e.g., architectural design sessions, proof of concept [POC] sessions) of solutions based on multiple Microsoft products through initial engagements. Leverages partner/customer teams as needed to prove product capabilities and integration into customer environment.
18. Presents and applies reference architectures to partners or customers for their technology sets.
19. Expands awareness of and begins practicing digital transformation sales methodologies
Education
20. Consumes and leverages readiness materials to expand domain knowledge and practices expertise by communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues to increase knowledge of architecture.
21. Demonstrates new and updated products to increase internal virtual teams' product understanding.
22. Participates as a member in the Microsoft tech community, attends community calls, sessions, hackathons, etc., and acts as a mentor to the community.
