About the Role:
This role will partner with compliance officers, program managers, analysts, and operational teams across the globe to enable Remitly's regulatory compliance and reporting.
You Will:
* Build a global regulatory reporting program, enabling our compliance function to scale through data.
* Support high visibility and sometimes time-sensitive responses to regulator requests.
* Become an expert in the relevant data produced across multiple teams and customer experiences to enable accurate and timely reporting to support critical compliance functions.
* Use analytics to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our compliance operations.
* Collaborate with colleagues across multiple roles, teams, and geographies.
You Have:
* Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
* An obsession with data quality.
* Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in an analytics role.
* Experience modelling complicated scenarios with data then estimating their relative size and impact.
* Experience in SQL, statistical modeling platforms (Python, R), data modeling.
* Experience working in highly regulated organisation is preferred.
