Job Title: Social Work Team Leader
Join our partnership with The Safeguarding & Protection Team in Dublin North City & County to work as a Social Work Team Leader.
The purpose of this role is to manage the provision of social work services within a multidisciplinary context, ensuring an equitable and person-centered service for vulnerable adults in community and service settings.
About Us
The Safeguarding & Protection Team provides support and services for Older Persons aged 65+ and over 18's with a disability.
Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day provision of the social work service in conjunction with the Principal Social Worker.
* Ensure delivery of social work services aligns with CORU's Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics for the Social Work profession, relevant legislation, and HSE policies.
* Take direct responsibility for a defined caseload as required/directed by the Principal Social Worker, particularly for cases requiring high experience and expertise.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Professional Qualifications and Experience:
o Must be registered on the Social Work Register maintained by the Social Work Registration Board at CORU.
o Maintain live annual registration on the Social Workers Register.
o Have three years' relevant post-qualification experience.
o Meet the necessary knowledge and ability requirements for discharging the duties of the office.
