Supply Chain Manager
About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join a leading FMCG company that is expanding its operations. We are now seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of its logistics and demand planning functions. This is a senior-level role with full responsibility for shaping and leading the supply chain strategy.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-moving and evolving environment, where both strategic vision and hands-on execution are required. As the business scales, this role will involve building and optimizing supply chain processes, managing supplier and logistics relationships, and ensuring efficient demand forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain function, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and implement robust supply chain workflows to support the company’s continued growth.
• Serve as the primary liaison for all supplier and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.
• Work closely with the commercial team to develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Communicate demand plans effectively to third-party manufacturers to align with production schedules.
• Oversee inbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation to 3PL partners.
• Monitor and manage stock levels at third-party distribution centers, ensuring alignment with demand.
• Optimize order fulfillment processes to improve delivery efficiency and customer service levels.
• Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level expectations with logistics partners.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to maximize the effectiveness of ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
• Work to reduce distribution costs by optimizing order quantities and delivery frequencies.
• Coordinate with finance teams to reconcile logistics costs and ensure financial accuracy.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance supply chain performance.
Candidate Profile
• Proven experience in supply chain management within the FMCG sector.
• Strong background in demand planning, logistics, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, capable of making independent decisions.
• A detail-focused mindset with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
