Your new role
Due to expansion and growth plans, we are hiring a Financial Accountant to join an 8-strong finance team. Reporting directly to a Financial Controller, you will prepare monthly and annual accounts for Group entities, including associated reconciliations and variance analysis.
* Prepare Accounts - journal entries, invoices, receipts and payments to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
* Produce and analyse cash flow forecasts, including variance analysis.
* Support the relevant monthly reporting requirements with credit providers and senior management.
* Involvement in the preparation and compilation of budgets and forecasts.
* Review and reconciliation of the bank and cash balances.
* Oversee and manage VAT returns.
* Support Accounts Payable in the processing and monitoring of invoicing.
* Develop a working relationship with key business stakeholders and work closely with and assist Procurement, Accounts Payable and management teams.
* Support the Finance team in driving the use of digital technology solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Accountant - Chartered, ACA, ACCA, CPA & CIMA.
You must be a team player, have good communication skills and demonstrate that you are ambitious.
What you'll get in return
Salary up to €55k, flexible start / finish times. Initially, an in-office position that will move to a hybrid position after circa 6 months.
This position starts off as a 12-month contract.
