Job Description:
A highly successful Irish FMCG company is experiencing international hyper growth which has led to an increased headcount across the organisation.
ROLE:
1. Improve forecast accuracy within the Procurement & Supply Chain department. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising & implementing planning tools & processes as part of the S&OP internal process.
2. Profitably source & procure all delivered products and office needs in line with our supply chain timelines & requirements.
3. Maintain optimal inventory levels in our distribution centers and with commercial partners in country and overseas.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Previous experience in a Demand/Supply planning role within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
2. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
3. Collaborative; will interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers, store operations, distribution center, and company personnel.
4. Strives to meet or exceed inventory turn goals and service levels.
5. Review acquisition costs to ensure items purchased are at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need.
6. Assess current inventory, growing conditions, seasonality, promotional activity, and logistics situation to determine order quantities.
7. Conduct logistics planning processes while ordering products to attain the best net product price possible.
8. Understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management practices.
9. Detailed planning and organizing skills.
10. International Supplier and Vendor management processes and continuous improvement.
Hybrid model, with 4 days in the office in North Dublin required. Candidates must be based in Ireland with a valid EU work permit.
