The Role: As a Control Room Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective monitoring and response to alarm signals and security incidents. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process alarm signals from customers, including CCTV activations.
2. Communicate with keyholders, Garda, and emergency services as required, following client site protocols.
3. Follow client-specific procedures for handling alarm activations.
4. Respond to incidents promptly and in accordance with PSA performance standards.
5. Professionally manage inbound and outbound calls with alarm installers, end users, and emergency services.
6. Assist installers and customers with alarm monitoring-related inquiries.
7. Conduct CCTV camera patrols and report any faults.
8. Ensure the control room is clean, safe, and operational at all times.
9. Perform additional security-related duties as directed by the control room supervisor or management.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.
2. Strong time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and the public.
4. Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, days, and weekends.
5. A reliable team player with enthusiasm and business maturity.

Additional Information: Prior experience in an Alarm Receiving Centre or the security industry is beneficial but not required. Full training will be provided. Successful candidates will undergo a background vetting process, including employment history and criminal record checks.
