Nordic Region Data Centre Project Manager
We have a strong data centre project pipeline over the next 5 years for the Nordic Region, predominantly Sweden & Finland. We are seeking a project manager with a strong technical background and at least 5 years' experience on large-scale construction or manufacturing projects.
Responsibilities:
* Management of secured projects.
* Assist with the design and co-ordination process between the client and contractors (e.g. Architect, Consultant, Steel, and Cladding contractors).
* Develop and manage a detailed project delivery schedule and work plan.
* Ensure quality control procedures are implemented in-line with manufacturers' guidelines and liaise with clients to ensure client user and operability is in-line with the product's intended use.
* Client relationship management.
* Liaise with senior management team.
* Track project progress and costs rigorously and mitigate potential risks.
* Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
* Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements.
* Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
* Ensuring the project's compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
* Preparing technical submittals following detailed project approval processes.
* Completing health and safety documentation as required.
* Assisting on site works (e.g. snagging, pre commissioning and commissioning) and ensuring all associated paperwork is completed to the highest standard.
Key Candidate Requirements:
* Third Level Engineering Qualification (preferably Mechanical/Electrical or Building services).
* 5+ years of project management and related experience.
* Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelines.
* Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
Key Knowledge:
* Microsoft Suite of products (including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
* CAD.
* BIM/REVIT.
Key Skills:
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
* Responsibility for follow-up on actions based on various team projects.
* High organisation and time management skills in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using good judgment and initiative.

* Work independently without regular direct supervision.
