Reporting to: Deputy Manager
Leading by example, being dedicated, motivated & driven by the needs & requirements of Donnelly Fresh Foods business. Working pro-actively with the DFF Management team in striving to meet the overall goals. Ensuring health & safety, food safety, and hygiene requirements are met at all times in line with BRC Standards, Customer Codes of Practice & Current Legislation. Ensuring products are shipped in line with customer requirements, expectations & specifications. Ensuring products & processes are managed & maintained in a safe, effective & efficient manner to ensure the smooth running of low care operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build the orders according to picking sheets, ensuring accuracy.
2. Ensure correct shipping information is attached and move completed orders to the shipping area.
3. Supervise all staff activities, monitor breaks, etc.
4. Manage & control rosters, staff levels, operator’s hours, absenteeism, holidays, and efficiency of all operations in the area.
5. Ensure all staff are correctly trained as per the WI and SOP before starting their position, and ensure WI & SOP are up to date & signed off at all times.
6. Communicate any issues with machinery, equipment, health & safety to Production Supervisor/QA/Manager or Maintenance team.
7. Ensure start-up check sheets, check sheets & quality records are filled in on time and signed off as outlined by the business requirements.
8. Ensure CCPs are completed on time in line with procedures, ensuring all persons completing CCPs are fully trained & signed off by QA prior to completing a given CCP.
9. Set up production lines, checking machinery and equipment are in working order, reporting any issues to your supervisor or QA & documenting the same accordingly.
10. Ensure any NCRs are managed & closed off in a timely fashion.
11. Ensure that all products are produced according to customer specifications and meet company quality standards.
12. Carry out stock takes at the end of each shift & regular stock checks during the shift to ensure the process runs smoothly. Communicate with relevant TLs and/or supervisors when required.
13. Ability to manage independently regarding PC work; access orders, recipes on computer & general day-to-day work documents.
14. Ad hoc duties as required.

3. Ability to achieve ambitious deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A good command of the English language is desirable.
