Job Title: Finance Change & Transformation Senior Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving the evolution of our finance function through innovative change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver transformative finance projects: define, plan, and execute projects that enhance efficiency, improve data accuracy, and streamline financial processes.
* Leverage data-driven insights and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, automation) to optimize operations.
* Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for finance transformation, aligning with business objectives.
* Champion continuous improvement: foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the finance team.
* Drive the adoption of best practices and ensure adherence to financial controls.
* Build strong relationships: collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, building strong relationships and understanding their evolving needs.
Project Management Expertise:
Manage the full project lifecycle, from inception to implementation and post-implementation support. Develop and track project budgets and timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment. Develop and empower team members, encouraging their professional growth.
Required Skills & Experience:
* 7+ years of experience in strategic change management and project delivery within a finance or related environment.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex finance projects, ideally with a focus on process improvement, automation, or technology implementation.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address challenges proactively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Proven leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive change and build consensus across different levels of the organization.
* A strong understanding of financial principles and best practices.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA)
* Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2)
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
* Experience within F.S or Banking industries.
