Head of Operations - Blarney, CarrigtwohillJob Description:The Head of Filtration Operations (F2.0), reporting to the Managing Director and the Head of Cork Operations, is responsible for leading operations activities within a key manufacturing area, including the Warehouse. This role is a vital part of the Senior Leadership Team, developing and implementing strategic direction for Cork Operations.The Head of Filtration Operations is accountable for on-time delivery of quality products to customers in a cost-effective and safe manner, through the development and execution of operational plans across multiple teams and high-volume process lines.Working closely with the Managing Director and site leadership, the Operations Manager will ensure process rigor and continuous improvement within their areas of responsibility.Key Responsibilities:Serve as production owner and interface for business units, formulating and implementing effective production plans based on customer needs and engineering capacity.Coordinate personnel and equipment to meet business goals, approve schedules, and develop capital expenditure proposals.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, using a Servant Leadership approach.Manage daily operations to achieve safety, quality, cost, cash, people, and project goals.Plan long-term production schedules, ensure department commitment, and coordinate activities for proper execution.Develop and manage budgets, evaluate variances, and report on operational conditions.Oversee personnel selection, training, performance evaluation, and development, ensuring policy compliance and safety standards.Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching, guidance, and recognition.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.Extensive experience in Operations/Plant Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering, with progressive leadership roles.Proven ability in change management, strategic vision, and inspiring teams.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in diverse cultural settings.
