Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in various catering outlets. The successful candidate will work closely with the Pastry Chef to ensure efficient food production, minimal wastage, and adherence to high standards of food hygiene and health and safety.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare high-quality food for restaurants and hospitality events
* Maintain full knowledge of all menu items served
* Collaborate with the Pastry Chef on food production management and maintenance of food levels, quality, and brand standards
* Ensure high food hygiene and health and safety standards per HACCAP requirements
* Assist the Pastry Chef with post-analysis and service section management
* Undertake relevant training as required
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Food Production role within catering
* Good level of spoken English
* Able to work well under supervision and take direction
* Self-motivated, adaptable, flexible, and an effective communicator
* Provide outstanding customer service
* Prioritize workload, delegate tasks, and work optimally without supervision
* Quality-focused and an effective team worker
