Our client is seeking an ambitious Senior Manager to join their dynamic Audit and Accounts Department. This role offers opportunities to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, contribute to the firm’s growth strategy, and mentor team members in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities:
* Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and providing financial guidance.
* Oversee a portfolio of clients across various industries with turnovers exceeding €10m.
* Provide accountancy services, including review of management accounts, unaudited statutory accounts, and financial control advice.
* Ensure compliance with company secretarial requirements, such as maintaining registers and minutes.
* Drive the implementation of accounting technology solutions to enhance client service.
* Manage financial performance metrics, including billing, fee agreements, and monitoring recoverability.
* Participate in coaching, mentoring, and appraisal processes for staff development.
* Conduct due diligence and assist clients with operational and structural advice.
Experience Required:
* ACA or ACCA qualification with a minimum of 7 years PQE.
* At least 5 years experience in practice, with strong technical and financial/management accounting expertise.
* Proven management and organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and a strong interest in adopting new technologies.
* Experience in AI-based accounting tools and connected app functionality.
* Market/commercial awareness with a client-focused approach.
