Job Title: Shift Mechanical Technician
Contract Type: Permanent, Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin.
Duties:
* Perform scheduled work as per Maintenance Lead, Planner and site policies.
* Troubleshoot utility equipment issues as necessary, under the direction of site supervisors.
* Complete site documentation before and after work tasks, as required.
* Liaise with contractors during planned maintenance.
Responsibilities:
* Participate in training programs.
* Conduct risk assessments on equipment maintenance task lists and ensure validity.
* Update Equipment Maintenance Task Lists (MTLs) as needed.
* Review Electrical Work Instructions (EWI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure current validity.
* Familiarize yourself with GMP rules, statutory requirements, and all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
* Flexibility to work across various buildings and interact with the client's utilities engineering team.
* Ability to work around maintenance shutdowns.
* Maintenance of housekeeping standards compatible with pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Application of 5 S methodology in all areas.
* Implementation and participation in utilities reliability programs.
* Technical input/support for new projects from design through beneficial use.
Essential Skills:
* Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
* Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience and a good understanding of utility systems fundamentals.
* Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems.
* Experience working within Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system environments.
* Permit to Work System familiarity.
* Computer literacy.
* Ability to read and understand P& ID documents.
* Understanding of SOPs and GMP Engineering systems.
* Familiarity with Basic Instrumentation.
* Hands-on experience with detailed knowledge/skill in Teamwork, Attention to Detail, Methodical & Analytical approach, Problem-Solving/Troubleshooting, Good Initiative and Pro-Active attitude.
