A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join a rapidly growing commercial semi-state organisation in the region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations, including Revenue rules and Social Welfare legislation.
They will be responsible for processing payroll transactions accurately and efficiently, reconciling data from MyWork to CorePay on a fortnightly basis, and managing queries from various stakeholders.
The successful candidate will also provide reports relating to payroll and expenses for cashflow forecasting of payments, supporting business decisions with accurate data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process payroll transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Reconcile data from MyWork to CorePay on a fortnightly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Manage queries from various stakeholders, including Management, HR/ ER/ C&B, Staff, Pensioners, and external bodies like Revenue and Social Welfare.
* Provide reports relating to payroll and expenses for cashflow forecasting of payments, supporting business decisions with accurate data.
* Staying up-to-date with changing payroll laws, regulations, and industry best practices, advising the business on potential impacts and implications.
* Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and agreements that ensure competitive pricing and service delivery.
* Communicate payroll information and changes to employees, managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity.
* Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement payroll communications, promoting awareness and engagement among employees.
