We are currently seeking a highly motivated Wedding and Event Executive to join the team at a luxury 4-star hotel in Killarney, a stunning location known for hosting world-class events and celebrations.
As the Wedding and Event Executive, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of weddings and events, from planning to execution. You will work closely with clients, hotel management, and other departments to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for all guests. Our client is a renowned 4-star luxury hotel in Killarney, known for its breathtaking setting, top-tier service, and excellent facilities. The hotel is a popular venue for weddings, corporate events, and private functions, offering an unforgettable experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full event lifecycle for weddings and events, from initial inquiry to event delivery.
* Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.
* Coordinate with hotel departments (food and beverage, front of house, housekeeping) to ensure seamless event delivery.
* Assist clients in planning and organizing all aspects of their wedding or event, including menus, décor, and entertainment.
* Provide on-site support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and guests are satisfied.
* Work with the sales team to promote wedding and event packages, ensuring maximum occupancy and profitability.
* Prepare proposals, contracts, and event timelines for each client.
* Manage and track event budgets, ensuring all financial objectives are met.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all events.
* Provide post-event follow-up and feedback to improve future services.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in wedding and event management, preferably in a luxury or 4/5-star hotel environment.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
* High attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
* Experience working with event management software and hotel systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluent English, both written and verbal.
* Living in Ireland and having the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
