Position: Senior Engineering Manager (Platform – Infrastructure)
Location: Cork, Ireland (Hybrid)

Forcepoint is expanding its world class Endpoint organisation in Cork, Ireland. The Cork team is part of a global team that develops Forcepoint’s Windows, and Mac Endpoint products to scale to meet the needs of hundreds of millions of Forcepoint users.
You will be responsible for recruiting top talent, establishing a positive, innovative and productive culture and delivering high quality software to our customers. In this role you will manage a group of software QA engineers working in an agile environment. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong technical background and the ability to enhanced customer quality and keeping the product lifecycle on track.
This position is both people management and technical contribution to the Endpoint product within Forcepoint.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager to work with a strong team in developing the latest features for a market leading company in data protection.
Essential Functions:
1. Work directly with software engineers both locally and globally to ensure product quality objectives are achieved.
2. Responsible for end-to-end delivery of all CI activities across multiple projects.
3. Proposing and driving architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
4. Managing Installer creation and deployment.
5. Developing configuration and infrastructure solutions for internal deployments
6. Updating, tracking, and resolving technical issues.
7. Proactive ownership of build process
8. Evaluate new technology options and vendor products. Ensuring critical system security using best-in-class security solutions.
Preferred Technical Skills:
9. 10+ years of experience in software engineering, CI, or IT operations roles.
10. Ability to lead and collaborate on high-impact and complex projects.
11. Intermediate programming ability in following languages (e.g., C++, Python or groovy).
12. Intermediate understanding of Windows and Mac build tools (Visual Studio, Xcode).
13. Experience and comfort on the Linux command line.
14. Good understanding of binary/driver signing process for MacOS and Windows.
15. Good understanding of package and installer generation for MacOS and Windows platforms
16. Expert with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github, Artifactory).
17. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with developers and other team members.
18. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education and Experience:
27. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
28. Extensive experience managing a QA engineering team.
29. Strong troubleshooting skills, good coding, and source management practices.
30. Experience managing multiple teams.
