Regional Operations Manager
Regular Travel involved – can be based anywhere in Ireland, so long as flexible to travel across Ireland & some UK sites. (Preference for Munster based as most of the sites are in Cork & surrounding regions).
€60-65k Salary + Company Car OR Car Allowance + Bonus.
Engineering, manufacturing & Industrial Services International Organisation is urgently seeking a Regional Ops Manager, effectively a Country Manager, with Industrial Services Operations & Commercial expertise to join their expanding Ireland operations.
Responsibilities:
* The delivery of operational, commercial and service excellence across a defined set of client service contracts.
* Responsible for 10-13 on-site operations, ensuring the teams deliver exceptional customer service, through setting and maintaining high operational standards, meeting contractual obligations and developing customer relationships.
* Providing the Organisation’s Customer management teams with KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reporting, Focused Improvement Projects and other supporting activities which help contribute to the excellent operational management of the Service Centres within the region.
* Work closely with the Regional Sales Teams & Product Business Units collaborating to improve work practices, processes & maximise revenues.
* Responsible for health and safety within all the operations under their scope, acting as the key advocate for the promotion of health and safety policies and procedures.
* Act as a positive role model for, and leader for the teams, ensuring their reporting team members have clearly defined roles and objectives, are fully trained in the supporting resources required to fulfil their role and are motivated to achieve the required standards of performance.
Expertise Required:
* Experience of managing high performance teams and expertise of operations management.
* A background in Industrial Services Delivery Operations Management – manufacturing, engineering, industrial services, distribution.
* Excellent commercial & operational management experience & acumen.
* Sets and maintains high standards of work, experienced in the management and delivery of operational excellence.
* Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Communication and inter-personal skills, including written, oral and presentational.
* Focused on customer needs and satisfaction.
* Motivates and empowers others.
Location: Ireland based (Cork, Limerick, Dublin – any base location in Ireland with flexibility to travel across sites & services centres + regular travel to UK.)
