Treo Port Lairge CLG is seeking an individual with proven knowledge in financial management or accountancy to join our Board of Directors.
Responsibilities:
1. Have insight into all financial policies/controls and propose recommendations for change.
2. Oversee compliance and risk management in the organisation.
3. Be appointed to the Finance committee of the organisation.
4. Provide an overview of the finances to advise the Board on financial implications of proposals, cash flow problems, etc.
5. Review and approve financial plans, budgets, and projections.
6. Attend 12 board meetings and quarterly sub-committee meetings a year, which are held in the Treo building; however, we can host meetings via Zoom to accommodate members.
