Our client is a leading building services consultancy specializing in HVAC and air conditioning.
This role will assist the Project Management team with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. The role will be responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cooperate and communicate with the Project Managers and other project participants.
2. Collaborate with Senior Engineers to create more efficient project methods and maintain project profitability.
3. Interact with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements.
4. Perform quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance, reporting on the project's status.
5. Review engineering tasks and initiate necessary corrective actions.
6. Develop specifications for project-required equipment.
7. Create frameworks to measure project metrics and data collection.
8. Ensure project compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
9. Prepare technical submittals and follow detailed project approval processes (e.g., Pharmaceutical).
10. Conduct HVAC design work including drawing updates and modifications.
11. Order parts and equipment.
12. Complete health and safety documentation as required.
13. Assist on-site works such as snagging, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, ensuring all associated paperwork is completed to the highest standard.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
2. 2-3 years proven experience in a similar role.
3. Demonstrated ability to work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external customers.
4. Demonstrated customer service excellence.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, and CAD.
6. BIM/REVIT experience would be an advantage.
Package:
Salary: €60k - €80k depending on experience
Permanent Contract
