Site Manager Job Description
Blackfox Solutions is collaborating with a prominent Construction and Civil Engineering company, renowned for delivering high-quality projects across the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a new residential project in Monaghan Town. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, this role involves playing a pivotal part in site management, ensuring efficient project delivery and fostering team development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations on the construction site, guaranteeing exceptional standards in safety, quality, and workmanship.
* Manage the site's short-term construction schedule to optimize efficiency and adherence to timelines.
* Enforce Health and Safety policies and procedures on-site.
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors, team members, and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
* Ensure project completion to a high specification, maintaining clear communication with relevant departments.
* Handle all project documentation and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS), policies, and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A Degree in Construction Engineering and Management or equivalent is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction is required.
* Proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel is essential.
* A full driving license and relevant site certifications are necessary.
