IT Governance & Security Manager – Dublin (WFH/in office hybrid)
Our client is a post start up working in the Connected Health sector with a range of complex health monitoring and communication devices based in Dublin (regular office visits are required).
This position will focus on ensuring best practice across the company in all matters relating to IT Governance as well as Cyber Security, Regulatory Compliance, ongoing Digital Transformation and other areas.
You will work closely with users, stakeholders, product design teams & systems engineering to gather inputs and feedback to guide the design & development of Governance processes. My client is a regulated R&D environment and all software documentation must be compliant with various international bodies; experience in this area is very welcome.
Responsibilities:
1. Adapt existing Governance Documentation and Strategy, bringing expertise to bear on all areas of the Software Development Lifecycle with an eye for ensuring ongoing best practice into the future.
2. Manage all IT Security matters from the development process through to end user experience.
3. Ensure relevant R&D compliance with a keen eye for documentation.
4. Prepare all departments for future certification in advance of products going to market.
5. Take responsibility for all areas of Digital Transformation across desktop, mobile, hardware relating to internal processes and externally facing products.
6. Liaise with various third parties, cloud/service providers, determining and managing SLAs, negotiation and delegating work where required.
Requirements:
1. 10+ years of commercial experience within a Software based environment.
2. Track record of designing and delivering IT Governance programs.
3. Strong grasp of Security issues (certifications welcome).
4. Exceptional eye for detail and documentation skills.
5. Medical device experience welcome but not necessarily a pre-requisite.
6. Experience of working well with both internal and external (suppliers) stakeholders.
7. Ability to work on Digital Transformation projects.
8. Background in programming or system administration welcome.
The role will be on a hybrid basis so will suit candidates within the Dublin area.
