Customer Services Representative
Reporting to the Compounding Customer Service Manager, the Customer Services Representative is responsible for providing support to Sandyford customers, to whom Baxter provides critical therapies and healthcare products.
The role will involve developing customer relations with hospitals, supporting the Customer Service team, and liaising with Production, Warehouse & Distribution.
This role requires attendance at the Baxter Deansgrange office Monday to Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Customer Services Representative is accountable and responsible for the following activities:
1. Maintain accurate and current customer information.
2. Manage order/query receipt through group email inbox.
3. Process orders through the order entry systems promptly and accurately in a deadline-driven environment.
4. Monitor any manufacturer rejections/backorders as they arise, and ensure that the customer is advised of the status of unfulfilled orders.
5. Ensure that supporting documentation is available as required.
6. Communicate requirements to issue credit/debits where necessary.
7. Effectively manage returns in accordance with Baxter returns policy.
8. Respond promptly to all queries from customers or colleagues, relating to product or service.
9. Ensure complaints are appropriately recorded, addressed, and resolved.
10. Provide reports & information e.g. missed order opportunities concerning customers.
11. Manage all internal and external stock levels.
12. Review and update SOP and introduce new SOP as appropriate.
13. Ability to be cross-trained on areas of Compounding Customer Service.
14. Support Customer Services Manager, recommend process improvement, and assist with implementation of new processes and integration activities.
15. Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Regulatory and Corporate Requirements as applicable.
16. Support the development of a culture of continuous improvement within Baxter.
17. Any other tasks or activities required by the business deemed relevant to this role as the business model changes.
Education and/or Experience
1. Experience in a customer-focused environment.
2. Experience working in a team-based environment.
3. Background in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is desirable, but not necessary.
4. Customer focus with a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.

1. Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail.
