Title: Platform Engineer (Contact Centre Platform)
Location: Galway, Ireland (1 week onsite, 3 weeks remote)
Contract: 6 Months
Salary: €270 - €279 per day
Responsibilities:
* Own the end-to-end platform engineering for a mission-critical contact center system (Genesys).
* Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to drive measurable improvements in associate experience and customer satisfaction.
* Lead initiatives from ideation to implementation, including provisioning, automation, testing, and operational excellence.
* Influence architecture and design standards while simplifying complexity through smart solutions.
* Provide 24/7 stability and uptime to one of the most high-impact systems in the organization.
Experience and qualifications required:
* 3–5+ years of experience in voice/digital communication systems or contact center platforms.
* Strong technical leadership, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Deep knowledge of:
o VoIP, SIP, softphone software, and telephony protocols.
o Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
o CI/CD pipelines (uDeploy, Ansible, Jenkins) and container tech (Docker).
o Protocols like HTTP, SIP, TLS, TCP/IP, SNMP, LDAP, RDP.
* Experience navigating enterprise-scale architecture with an eye toward high availability and continuity.
* Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and DevSecOps practices.
