We are currently recruiting a Senior Construction Project Manager for our clients to work on contracts nationwide. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' experience in construction project management and a degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design development, coordination of the design team and other consultants. They will also manage compliance statements, commencement notices, assigned and ancillary certifier appointments, as well as all aspects of construction phase delivery.
This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage contractors. The successful candidate will have experience working in a safety-critical environment and a full clean driving license is essential.
Detailed job responsibilities include:
* Project design brief and design development
* Coordination of design team and other consultants
* Management of levies and development contributions
* Compliance statements, commencement notices, assigned and ancillary certifier appointments
* Construction phase delivery management
* HS&E management and PSDP/PSCS coordination
* Detailed programming of works and production of project execution plans
* Recording progress and managing design changes
* Subcontractor, material, labour, plant and prelim schedules and trackers
* Procurement of contractors, materials, labour, plant and prelim
* Project progress, quality and compliance management
* Utility provider appointments and designs
* BCAR documentation and certifications
* Site Taking in Charge procedure and hand over to Local Authorities
The salary for this role is open to negotiation and based on experience.
