At RecruitNet International Ltd, we specialise in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.
We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at a leading Hospital in Dublin, Ireland on a Permanent, full-time basis (37 hours per week).
Main Responsibilities
1. Contribute to creating and implementing tasks and responsibilities relevant to the Consultant's area of expertise, ensuring compliance with Clinical Director guidelines.
2. Prioritise patient and resident outcomes while maintaining a pursuit of excellence.
3. Collaborate with the Clinical Director to develop operational and strategic plans, working together to achieve goals.
4. Inform the Clinical Director about clinic demands and priorities, participating in discussions about strategic development.
5. Ensure favourable patient and resident outcomes through continuous pursuit of excellence.
6. Maintain mechanisms to provide accurate and timely information, including data protection and freedom of information requirements.
7. Utilise clinical information systems to benchmark and audit practices, enhancing patient and resident experience.
8. Maintain regular communication with all centre staff members.
9. Sustain expert clinical proficiency through ongoing education and training.
10. Foster an inclusive and transparent workplace culture, promoting strong relationships.
* Participate in the hospital's performance management program.
Requirements
11. Registration on the Medical Council of Ireland's Specialist Register of Medical Practitioners (Psychiatrist) or eligibility to do so.
12. General adult psychiatrist with training in neuropsychiatry or neurodegenerative disease.
13. Proven track record of leadership or management in a clinical field.
14. Demonstrate ability to create clinical services and lead change initiatives.
15. Experience in managing a diverse group of medical professionals, with a strong understanding of clinical governance principles.
* Capacity to mentor, oversee, and participate in the education and training of medical staff, students, nurses, and allied health professionals.
