A prominent client based in Dublin is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting fee earners and carrying out Legal Secretary duties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Document Preparation: Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and other materials.
2. Calendar Management: Manage and update solicitors’ calendars, including scheduling appointments, court dates, and deadlines.
3. Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and scheduling meetings or consultations.
4. File Management: Maintain and organize paper and electronic files, ensuring documents are easily accessible, and online registration of documentation.
5. Legal Research: Assist solicitors in legal research, document retrieval, and other research tasks.
6. Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with various courts and agencies as required.
7. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and always maintain confidentiality.
8. Team Support: Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
Key Skills:
1. Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document types.
2. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, legal software, and document management systems.
