The College of Business, Public Policy & Law has undergone transformative growth in recent years through new programmes, partnerships and cutting-edge research. This research feeds back into engaging teaching programmes across each of the three Schools, designed to equip graduates with the skills needed to shape the future and address contemporary societal challenges.
Research within the College:
1. The J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics is focused on generating high-quality research output and impact that seeks to identify solutions to and inform decisions about the grand challenges facing business and society leaders, public policy makers, and citizens.
2. The School of Law aims to develop and maintain a high-quality research profile in emerging domains beyond traditional focal points.
3. Research at Shannon College of Hotel Management focuses on challenges faced by the Global Hotel Industry, including ERASMUS+ projects on Green Leadership for Hotel Managers.

Salary: €140,068 to €177,079 per annum applicable to new entrants effective from January 2011.
Duration of Term: The Executive Dean of College is a fixed term appointment for four years in the first instance, with the option for a further term of four years, while the post of Established Professor is a permanent appointment.
