Seeking an Experienced Bookkeeper

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis, approximately 20 hours per week.
This position offers flexibility in how these hours are worked, with the option to work three days or five mornings a week.
The successful candidate will be based in our Cork office and will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Reconciliation:
* Daily posting of bank transactions
* Monthly bank account reconciliations
Coding and Inputting:
* Coding and inputting of purchase invoices
Bank Sheet Reconciliations:
* Bank sheet reconciliations
General Ledger Journals:
* Processing of general ledger journals
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT):
* Weekly Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments to suppliers
Creditors Reconciliation:
* Creditors reconciliations and preparation of monthly aged creditor reports
Petty Cash Transactions:
* Processing of petty cash transactions
* Assisting in the preparation of internal management reports

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* At least 3 years of experience in Bookkeeping
* Experience working in finance within Retail is an advantage
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* Proven work ethic and adaptability
* Strong attention to detail
