A top Wealth Management Company is seeking a candidate with over 2 to 3 years of Financial Advisory experience.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out consultations and obtain relevant information from individuals in the private and public sectors to gain a full understanding of their aspirations, needs, and investment objectives, including risk profiling.
* Help individuals plan and achieve their financial goals.
* E nsure individuals have necessary protection for themselves and their dependents should unexpected events occur in the future.
* Aid in understanding an individual's existing financial investments and align them with goals for the future.
* Help individuals plan for retirement and prepare for the lifestyle they want in retirement.
* Undertake a full review of a client's financial needs and goals, ensuring a first-class personalized and impartial service is provided.
* Arrange follow-up meetings to deliver recommended solutions to improve an individual's financial plan.
* Provide expert and impartial advice to organizations and their employees.
* Produce comprehensive reports detailing relevant fact-find information, providing full details of risk profiling, and any recommendations, including rationale.
* Comply with the Central Bank of Ireland's Minimum Competency Standards and Consumer Protection Code and any such standards set by the organization.
Skills & Experience:
* Understand and explain in generic terms the merits and detractions of all protection and investment types, as well as the differences between various pension schemes available, and provide guidance on suitability.
* Good knowledge of personal taxation, particularly income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax, including the ability to demonstrate the benefits of utilizing available tax reliefs where appropriate.
* Understand and assess the suitability of available pension income options, including annuities, phased retirement, and income drawdown.
* Explain the benefits, merits, and detractions of self-invested personal pensions.
* Understand current rules applying to approved and unapproved company share schemes.
* Understand the implications of current pension legislation and calculate allowable pension contributions considering existing pension arrangements, including the effects of pension contribution tax relief on an individual's tax computation.
* Knowledge of the regulatory environment, the role of the Financial Conduct Authority, money laundering regulations, and data protection.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
