Qualifications and Experience
For Disability Centres (Children and Adults)
* Minimum QQI Level 7 degree in Social Care or relevant field, such as Social Work, Psychology, Youth and Community, Social Science, Family Support, Disability Studies, or other relevant qualification.
* Minimum two years' experience working in Social Care, Healthcare, or a related role with children, young people, or adults.
For Children's Residential Centres
* Minimum QQI Level 7 degree in Social Care or relevant field, such as Social Work, Psychology, Youth and Community, Social Science, Family Support, Disability Studies, or other relevant qualification.
* Minimum two years' experience working in a Social Care grade with children or young people.
Additional Qualifications Considered
* Psychology (Level 8), and Level 7 in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Counselling/Psychotherapy, Addiction Counselling, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Youth and Community Work, Family Support, Social Work Professional Practice, Social Sciences/Social Studies, Disability Studies, Early Years Care (U12 centres only), BA Applied Policing, Higher Certificate in Custodial Care, Teaching, and Nursing.
