About The Role
About this opportunity Gleeds Belfast are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their expanding Project Management team, who will be responsible for assisting Project / Programme Managers in the delivery of projects and programmes.
You'll be working in a state-of-the-art office facility based in Custom House Square and be able to utilise some of the fantastic facilities such as free gym, digital detox room, podcast room and social spaces.
The team is made up of an enthusiastic workforce, who work in an environment of a 'team' ethos, encourage a healthy work / life balance, and prioritise social outings as a team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting Project / Programme Managers in:Delivering high quality services and ensuring that project management and/or programme management deliverables meet customer requirementsDelivering high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business proceduresAdministering contracts as contract administrator, employer's agent or project managerProducing and presenting to customersPreparing bids for servicesEnsuring that all quantitative and financial information has been independently checked before issue, including maintaining evidence of independent checksRemaining in the remit of your roleAs a Gleeds team member, you will have access to: Opportunities to develop and grow your careerA contributory pension schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeOur Global Travel Scholarship ProgrammeFlexible working arrangementsAbout You
Who we're looking for: Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills Further post graduate experience in project management and/or programme managementDevelop knowledge and experience in the following:Project stagesProject management tools and techniquesProcurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategiesSpecification and procurement of facilities supplies and servicesHealth and safety for facilities servicesContract administration and managementClear and effective communication skills – both oral and writtenGood organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changesSound problem solving, negotiating, financial management and numeracy skillsCompetent ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to work as part of a teamQualifications BSc DegreeUndertaking to attain professional membership – RICS, CIOB or APN or equivalent standardAbout Us
