Job Description
About this job:
The Non-Life Legal Entity & Solvency II team has responsibilities for the Group and legal entities within the Group. It provides actuarial oversight, constructive challenge and support, in addition to fulfilling its required regulatory responsibilities.
As part of the Non-Life Legal Entity & Solvency II team your key responsibility will be Solvency II. This includes:
* Calculation of the Solvency II Technical Provisions and Non-Life Underwriting Risk SCR
* Involvement in the peer review of the reserving work performed by the Reserving team.
* Quarterly reporting to relevant committees and Group Internal audit activities
* Annual Actuarial Function opinions (Technical Provisions, Underwriting, Reinsurance and ORSA)
* Providing support to Risk and Group Finance on the ORSA and key EBS and SCR deliverables
* Maintenance of documentation of key processes, procedures and results
Last but not least, you will support the team in its work for ad hoc projects, such as responding to requests from the regulator.
Qualifications
About you:
* Studying toward an actuarial qualification
* Proficiency in the analysis of data and strong MS Office skills
* High motivation, team-orientation and adaptability
* Ability to work under pressure within prescribed deadlines
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop and translate new ideas into effective business solutions
* Effective communication skills and proficiency in English
